NEW YORK - SECOND screening! The documentary film "Forgotten Soldiers" reminds us of the courage, bravery, and sacrifice of the World War II Philippine Scouts who fought America's first major ground battle in the Philippines. "Forgotten Soldiers" has been nominated for BEST documentary feature film. Along with "2011 Music Video Trio" which shines the spotlight on local Filipino-American artists: Archie D', Dennis Sy, and Sounds of Manila. "2011 Music Video Trio" has been nominated for BEST Music Video. Due to popular demand there is a SECOND screening for this feature film directed by Donald Plata and short film directed by Richard M. Reyes at the Quad Cinema (34 W 13th St., New York, NY) on November 15, 2011 during the week-long International Film Festival Manhattan NYC celebration of international films. Tickets are $15. $1 of every ticket sale goes toward The Mount Hope Project which benefits poor Filipinos who live and work in the largest garbage disposal area in the Manila, Philippines.
